Strawberries are at the heart of Zaad Farms. Fresh fruit is picked and packed into punnets in the field from December to May, forced-air cooled within hours and shipped by air or reefer. Fruit for processing becomes IQF frozen strawberries, available all year from frozen stock.

Egyptian citrus from September to May
Citrus is our other main programme: Navel and Valencia oranges, mandarins led by Murcott, Eureka lemons, red grapefruit and fresh limes. Graded by count, packed in Zaad or private-label cartons and pre-cooled before loading.

Questions importers ask us
What should I include in a request for quotation?
Product and variety, size or count, pack format and net weight, volume, destination port, Incoterm and target shipment week. With these details we can confirm availability and price in one reply.
What is your minimum order?
It depends on the product and pack. Most fresh programmes ship in full 20ft or 40ft reefers, and mixed loads of compatible products can be discussed. We confirm the minimum in the quotation.
Can you pack under our own brand?
Yes. We pack private label for importers and retailers. Send your artwork, label language and barcode data; print quantities and lead time are confirmed before production.
Which export documents do you provide?
Commercial invoice, packing list, phytosanitary certificate and certificate of origin as standard, plus the destination-specific documents your importer requires. Tell us the destination country at the start.
Do you ship by sea and by air?
Yes. Most products ship by sea in reefer containers. Air freight is used for short-shelf-life products such as strawberries, or for trial orders.
Can I get a sample or trial shipment?
Yes. Send your specification and destination; we confirm what is possible for the season, including trial volumes and the cost of sending samples.
