Overview
Deep red arils, strong autumn demand
Egyptian pomegranates arrive in autumn, when demand in Europe, the Gulf and Russia peaks. Wonderful is the main export variety for its deep red colour and juicy arils; Manfaluti and Baladi are popular in Middle Eastern markets.
We grade by count, skin colour and blemishes, and pack in single-layer cartons or lined crates. Acceptable skin marks and colour are agreed in advance, as they matter as much as fruit size.
