Overview
Winter berries, packed in the field
Egypt is one of the world’s leading strawberry producers and a key winter source when European fields are not producing. We harvest from December to May, pack straight into punnets in the field, and cool the fruit quickly to protect colour and shelf life.
Fresh strawberries have a short life, so programmes are planned around the receiving date: air freight for the freshest retail supply, reefers for nearer markets. Fruit size, colour, punnet weight and the outer carton are approved before the first shipment.

Do you ship strawberries by air or by sea?
Both. Air freight gives the longest shelf life on arrival; reefer shipments suit nearby markets and larger volumes.
Which punnet sizes do you pack?
225 g, 250 g and 400 g punnets in master cartons. Other formats can be discussed.
Do you also supply frozen strawberries?
Yes, IQF and frozen strawberries are available year-round from our own processing facility.
